You Have a Purpose
Life has a way of taking us on unexpected journeys. Sometimes we find ourselves walking through pain, disappointment, betrayal, fear, confusion, and moments where we question our worth or direction. Along the way, many people lose sight of who they truly are and the purpose God placed inside of them.
But the truth is this: you already carry the power within you.
The movie The Wiz gives a powerful example through Dorothy’s journey down the yellow brick road. Day after day, she encountered different personalities and obstacles. She searched for answers, strength, courage, peace, and direction, not realizing the very thing she needed had been with her the entire time. The power was always in her shoes. All she had to do was click them together to activate what she already possessed.
Just like Dorothy, many people spend years searching externally for something God has already placed internally.
Life’s struggles can distract you. Heartbreak can weaken your confidence. Trauma can make you question your value. Mistakes can cause shame. Betrayal can create fear and emotional walls. Yet none of those experiences cancel your purpose.
Jeremiah 1:5 reminds us:
“Before I formed you in the womb I knew you, before you were born I set you apart.”
Before you ever entered this world, God already knew your name, your purpose, your gifts, and your destiny. You were created intentionally and uniquely in His image.
The challenge is not whether purpose exists within you. The challenge is whether you will believe it enough to walk in it.
There are seeds of greatness planted inside of you—gifts, ideas, visions, talents, wisdom, healing, and purpose waiting to grow. But growth requires action. Just like Dorothy had to click her shoes, you must choose to activate what God already placed inside of you.
Stop doubting yourself.
Stop minimizing your worth.
Stop allowing pain to convince you that you are powerless.
You were not created to merely survive life. You were created to walk boldly in purpose.
The power is already within you.
Now it’s time to activate it.
